Title: Deskside support technician
Type: Contract
Start date: April 1st 2018
Duration: 4 weeks contract
Schedule: Mon-Friday 9-5 (30-40hrs/week)
Pay rate: $22.00/hour
Location: 2 technicians for Markham
2 technicians for Scarborough

  • Provide basic end user support for 1500 users, migrating from MS office 2007 to Office 2010.
  • Require MS Office experience and basic understanding and trouble-shooting
  • Knowledge of drive mapping
  • Answer basic MS Office operations to answer questions
  • Have at 1 – 2 years of deskside support experience
  • Have strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills
  • Have A+ certification
  • May have other vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft and/or from OEMs
    (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP)
  • Must be a self-starter and have the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision
  • Must have a minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program
